This workshop is open to everyone. Graduate students, please register through GradProSkills.
A quick and simple introduction to the Linux operating system. This workshop is for beginners with little to no experience working with this free and open-source OS.
Learning Objectives:
In this hands on session participants will:
- get an overview of different Linux distros (versions)
- install a Linux system on their existing system (using a VM)
- learn the basics of working with the Linux operating system (file structure, command line)
