Looking to unwind, get creative, or just try something new? Join our open art therapy group where you can recharge, express yourself, and explore simple self-care through guided art-making. No experience needed, just show up, have fun, and see where your creativity takes you! If you wish to continue, we invite you to join the Closed Group that starts in February. This series is hosted by Concordia’s Health & Wellness in collaboration with the Concordia Arts in Health Centre.
What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is a therapeutic practice that combines creative expression with psychological support to promote emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It allows individuals to explore thoughts and feelings through art-making in a safe, non-judgmental space, often adding to interpersonal insights and healing. Guided by a trained art therapist, the process emphasizes self-expression, personal growth, and resilience.
