Stress and anxiety are often accompanied by uncomfortable physical sensations, including rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, feeling dizzy and muscle tension, to name a few.

In this session, we will provide a brief overview of the impact of stress on the body and learn and practice practical strategies to calm these sensations and feel more in control in times of stress.

Learning Objectives

  • Gain a general understanding of how stress and anxiety are maintained
  • Discover and practice concrete techniques to reduce the impact of stress on the body
