Rock Your Mocs is an annual week-long campaign starting November 12 that promotes cultural pride by encouraging Indigenous peoples to share their stories through posting photos of their moccasins. It’s an opportunity for the Concordia community to learn about the diversity of Indigenous peoples and support local Indigenous communities.
Indigenous Directions is inviting you to celebrate this week by joining us for a panel discussion! Panelists Natasha MacDonald and Glenn Cruz will explore the different ways in which clothing empowers culture and identity among different Indigenous nations across the globe. The discussion will be followed by a Q & A!
How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
