How To Stop Winging Project Management

Monday, November 2, 12 p.m.–1 p.m.
Instructor:
Benoît Lamontage
Topic:
Project management

If you’ve launched a product, onboarded an employee, or helped with organizational change, congratulations! You’ve managed a project. But if no one called it project management at the time, it’s likely priorities and expectations were moving targets, and nobody quite agreed on what the finish line looked like. In this interactive session, we'll use familiar workplace examples to explore one of the most common challenges in project management - propelling a project forward - while taking the time to clarify objectives, scope and expectations.

The Hidden Risks of AI Use in the Workplace

Tuesday, November 3, 1 p.m.–2 p.m.
Instructor: Carly Meredith
Topic: HR

AI tools may be readily available and widely used in workplaces, but their use poses risks to employment, privacy and human rights laws. If you’re an HR professional or a leader at any level, you need to be equipped to identify and address these issues before tools are rolled out in your organization. In this interactive session, you’ll learn about employee monitoring, screening job candidates with AI tools, and the risks involved when employees use AI in their work.

How to Scale Your Social Media Content

Wednesday, November 4, 12 p.m.–1 p.m.
Instructor: MJ Plebon
Topic: Social media

To have an impact on social media, you need a consistent content strategy, but how do you produce all that content for each platform? That's the problem this session solves. Using a live customer profile, we'll use AI to generate content ideas built around what your target audience actually cares about. You'll learn to take one of those ideas and repackage it for LinkedIn, TikTok, Youtube or any other social media platform you use.

The Basics of AI-Assisted Data Storytelling

Wednesday, November 4, 1 p.m.–2 p.m.
Instructor: Martin Berezaga
Topic: Data analysis

Numbers don't sway decision-makers; the right story does. In this interactive, hands-on session, you'll learn about effective data storytelling. Using AI to produce clean data, visuals and testing formats, you'll parse out what the true story is behind those numbers, and make it land. Participants will leave with a framework for building convincing, AI-assisted data presentations fast, without outsourcing the thinking that makes them persuasive.

SEO for Beginners

Thursday, November 5, 12 p.m.–1 p.m.
Instructor:
Alexandra Ospina
Topic: SEO

Most people understand that being discoverable online is essential to business, but few know what search engines are actually looking for. In this interactive session, participants will be introduced to the basics of search engine optimization (SEO) and its different categories, how search engines work, how AI is impacting searchability, and the relevance of your online content. You’ll also get to apply what you learn by auditing a website during the session.

Using AI Responsibly and Safely

Friday, November 6, 12 p.m.–1 p.m.
Instructor: Mohammed Shehab
Topic: AI

AI has become a common part of everyday work life, but certain tools have been behind recent data leaks, putting companies at risk. In this interactive session, participants will be shown a framework for responsible AI use, then collaborate in a group exercise to look at real-world examples of companies that experienced the pitfalls of AI, and identify what went wrong in each case. Participants will walk away with a better grasp of AI risks, and a practical checklist to help them evaluate a tool's safety.
