Acknowledging the past and celebrating the future: Concordia’s renewed commitment to reconciliation

Join us to mark the release of the Exploring Concordia’s colonial past report, a key part of the institution’s commitment to reconciliation.

The event will also celebrate the unveiling of two Indigenous artworks and the inauguration of the revitalized Hall Terrace at Concordia University on September 30, Canada's  National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The program will include remarks from Graham Carr, President and Vice-Chancellor of Concordia University; Effrosyni (Faye) Diamantoudi, Interim Provost and Vice-President, Academic; and Manon Tremblay, Senior Director, Indigenous Directions.

This special gathering will feature an opening led by an Elder, cultural performances and an opportunity to hear from the artists and their creative process.

A lunch reception will follow.
