Join us for an engaging panel discussion as we celebrate women who have not only excelled in sports but have also challenged gender norms and inspired future generations.

We will explore how sports empower women to become leaders, the lessons we can all learn from their journeys, and why investing in women’s sports is essential for creating inclusive leadership in organizations.

Anna Martini, BComm 85, GrDip 86

Chief executive officer, Psycho Bunny

After earning her Bachelor of Commerce and a graduate diploma in public accounting from Concordia University, Martini began her professional career at Deloitte & Touche, where she remained for over 19 years. She became a partner at Deloitte in 1996 and, in 2004, left to pursue a new opportunity as President of Groupe Dynamite, where she played a key role in the company's expansion. Groupe Dynamite operates the Dynamite and Garage banners in more than 380 stores across Canada, the United States and the Middle East. 

In 2017, Martini became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Groupe CH, which owns the Montreal Canadiens and operates venues such as the Bell Centre and Place Bell. 

She currently serves on the boards of Transcontinental Inc., Cirque du Soleil and Canadian Tire Real Estate Investment Trust, where she also chairs the Audit Committee. She is actively involved in the community as a board member of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Foundation and an advisory board member of the John Molson School of Business.

Caroline Ouellette

Assistant coach, Montreal Victoire women's hockey team

One of the longest-serving members of Canada's national women's team, Caroline Ouellette eclipsed the 200-game mark in a Team Canada uniform during the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship. As part of her longevity, Ouellette has played in four Olympic Winter Games, winning gold in each of her appearances at Salt Lake City 2002, Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010 and as captain at Sochi 2014. Ouellette is the only athlete to enter at least four career Winter Olympic events and win gold in all of them.

Ouellette has competed in 12 world championships, winning six gold and six silver medals. In 2012, she scored the overtime winner in the gold medal game to give Canada the world title.

Ouellette played for Les Canadiennes de Montreal of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. The team won the Clarkson Cup in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2017. She was the league MVP in 2009 and 2011. Before joining Team Canada as an assistant coach, she was the associate head coach for Les Canadiennes de Montreal and an assistant coach for the Concordia Stingers.

Christine Regimbal, BComm 90, GrDip 93

Chartered professional  accountant, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton

Christine Regimbal has over 26 years of audit experience. She serves primarily private corporations in manufacturing and processing, retail sales and services. Regimbal has participated in numerous special financing and merger-acquisition assignments, in addition to audit engagements.

Additionally, her expertise extends to public and parapublic organizations, where she provides audit services to establishments in the education, health, social services and municipal sectors.

She is a member of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton's Partnership Board and the Grant Thornton International NFPO sector committee. Regimbal is the Partner in charge of campus recruitment at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business. She played rugby with the Concordia Stingers. 

Alex Tessier, BComm 19

Rugby union player, Exeter Chiefs

Alexandra "Alex" Tessier is a Canadian international rugby union player known for her versatility in the backline, primarily at centre and fly-half. She was born in Sainte-Clotilde-de-Horton, Quebec, and didn't start playing rugby until age 17, after having been a basketball player.

Tessier made her senior debut for Canada in 2015 and has since become one of the team's key playmakers, earning more than 60 caps and competing at three Women's Rugby World Cups (2017, 2021 and 2025). She captained Canada at the 2025 Rugby World Cup in England, leading the team to the final and securing one of their best results in recent history.

Professionally, Tessier plays club rugby for Exeter Chiefs in England's Premiership Women's Rugby, where she's been a standout performer and was named to the league's Team of the Year. She was also nominated for World Rugby's Women's 15s Player of the Year in 2024.
