Join the apprentices of the 2025 City Herbal Apprenticeship Program for an afternoon of herbal knowledge sharing, yoga, tea tasting, and socializing!
Free Herbal Workshops, Herbal Zines, Herbal Tea Tastings, Grounding Yoga, and Herbal Remedies for Sale (bring cash if interested!) - all sales of remedies will go towards our fundraiser for the Seeds of Solidarity funding drive.
1:15 p.m. - 2 p.m. - Herbal Grounding and Mindful Movements led by Cat Lau (Wear comfy clothes/ bring a yoga mat)
2:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. - Fire Cider Workshop led by Samita Mandjee & Fédorah Saint-Cyr (Bring your own Jar)
3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Dream Bites led by Priya Choudhuri
Herbal Grounding and Mindful Movements (1:15 p.m.)
Soothe your senses with herbs and a gentle yoga practice. Learn about herbs that can help ease our anxiety and promote overall well-being. In this interactive workshop, you’ll smell and taste herbal tea blends designed to calm your nerves. In addition, you will be guided through a grounding yoga practice aimed to relax and restore your mind and body. Note: Please come with comfortable clothes and a yoga mat.
Fire Cider Workshop (2:15 p.m.)
Join us for a hands-on, 1-hour Fire Cider workshop! We'll explore the history of this traditional herbal remedy, learn about the herbs used and their benefits, and prepare a batch together. You'll leave with 250ml of fire cider—just bring your own jar for a zero-waste experience.
Dream Bites (3:30 p.m.)
Learn the simple & tasty process of how herbal-infused ghee can be used to make a classic Bengali sweet called “ladoos”.
Registration Required via Eventbrite simply select the timeslot(s) you would like to attend, and wait for confirmation.
