Loyola Community Clean-up Challenge

The goal of the activity is to spend more time in parks and green spaces near the Loyola campus, enjoying a morning in the park whilst serving the community by participating in a clean-up challenge. We will provide cleanup supplies and at the end compare the size of bags of trash collected, and take pictures throughout to compare the before and after of the cleanup to see the impact.

There will be a prize after to the group that collects the most trash. During the event, participants will be encouraged to observe the park around them and point out what they enjoyed about the park and what they didn’t, sharing their thoughts on the green spaces in the community.

The activity will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

This event is part of Campus Sustainability Month at Concordia, a month-long series of sustainability events and activities.
