Dreaming Landscapes is an interdisciplinary, experimental course designed to empower students as creators of original performance work by engaging their inner worlds. Through practices such as embodied movement, creative writing, sound, design and installation, students cultivate agency and multidimensional storytelling. In a rapidly accelerating world, we urgently need spaces that nurture slower, more transformative temporalities. This studio embraces the radical necessity of dreaming both asleep and awake as a method of exploration and artistic expression. Through the practice of our imagination as a vital and rigorous tool, students learn to shape personal and collective narratives with depth and intentionality. This project creates space for reflective, intuitive, and experimental approaches to making, fostering innovation in the next generation of artists. Dreaming Landscapes affirms the process of discovery, extending our creative vision into reality and pushing the emergence of possibility through co-creation.
