Join us for a talk by Eleni Schirmer on “Education, Debt and the Struggle over Political Imagination.”
Debt is the invisible architecture of public education. In an era of increasing budget cuts and mounting austerity, more and more education systems rely on debt to operate. But debt is not just a financial relationship. It is also a power relationship. What does this mean for communities, for movements, and for individuals?
A vegan lunch & refreshments will be served.
The talk will take place in person in the Hall Building on the 12th floor (room H1269)
