Come to Bar Milton Parc to enjoy a bilingual panel discussion with local Montreal organisers and researchers about the socio-environmental harms of an infinite growth economy.

Thanks to facilitation from Concordia political economist Bengi Akbulut, alternatives to growth-centered economies — such as social economy cooperatives, wealth redistribution and degrowth economies — will be proposed and explored by our panelists: Yves-Marie Abraham, associate professor at UdeM and Degrowth researcher; Karine Awashish, co-founder of Coop Nitaskinan; Jon McPhedran Waitzer, national organiser at Resource Movement; and Leonora Indira King, founder of the Parc-Ex Curry Collective.
