A New Wave of Anti-Racism in Europe? Racialized Minorities at the Centre

Friday, September 26, 2025

12:30-2:00pm

Hall Building, Room H-1220

You are invited to a seminar on the forthcoming book A New Wave of Anti-Racism in Europe? Racialized Minorities at the Centre. The volume explores whether today’s anti-racist mobilizations—energized by the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests—represent something truly new, or rather a re-emergence of long-silenced voices. With a focus on the leadership of racialized minorities, the book examines anti-racist struggles across Europe, linking colonial legacies to contemporary structural racism. Ilke Adam, one of the editors of the book will present the book’s key insights ahead of its publication, offering a timely reflection on the future of anti-racism in Europe.
