This poster session showcases student work that engages critically with migration studies and explores new ways of understanding and approaching immigration in Quebec and Canada. Through diverse perspectives and research, students challenge dominant narratives and highlight alternative frameworks for thinking about policy, inclusion, and community.
Developed as part of SCPA 412—the capstone seminar in the Community, Public Affairs and Policy Studies program—these projects reflect a culmination of the knowledge and skills students have built throughout their undergraduate studies. The course centers on applying this learning through a collaborative, public-facing initiative, making this event an opportunity to share and reflect on their work with a broader audience.
