Dónal Gill is tenured faculty in the Political Science department at Dawson College and part-time faculty at Concordia University, where he teaches courses on Canadian politics. Dónal has a PhD in Political Science from Concordia University (2020) and a BA in History and Politics (2008) and MA in Politics from University College Cork (2010). His work on the political thought of Jonathan Swift and James Joyce has been published in The Canadian Journal of Irish Studies and elsewhere. Dónal regularly contributes political analysis in the Quebec media, and has been published in The Walrus, Maclean's, The Dial, Canadian Dimension, and the Montreal Gazette. He wrote the chapter on Canada-US relations in the recently published book How We See It: The World Looks at America in the Age of Trump.
