As part of Montreal's annual Bloomsday celebrations, academic presentations are bing made around Irish culture and society. Moderated by political science professor Dónal Gill, the event features the following Presentations:
- Marie-Noëlle Choquette on the evolution of the Irish flute
- Stuart Jackson on the complexities of the uilleann pipes (the Irish bagpipes)
- Hugh Trudeau on 17th century Irish composer Turlough O’Carolan
