Carmen Vasconcelos and her translator, Alexis Levitin, will be reading in Spanish and English from her book Ultraje/Outrage published by White Dwarf Editions/Ediciones de la Enana Blanca of Montreal.
In addition to the reading, there will be a talk about Carmen’s dual life as poet and psychologist in the beach town of Playas, where she has lived for many years, distancing herself from Ecuador’s largest city, Guayaquil. There will also be an interview with the author, followed by questions and answers and the sale and signing of books.
