This is a recurrent event also taking place on the following dates:
This event is open to all students, staff and faculty, regardless of their level of musical experience. Beginners welcome!
Do you play a musical instrument that is now lying neglected in some corner or closet? Have you always wanted to make music with others?
Come take a musical health break with us and release your stress! Studies show that playing a musical instrument enhances your overall brain function and wellbeing. Not to mention you'll get to experience the energy and brain boost that creative musical play gives us. You'll get to meet new people and maybe even make new friends!
Hand drums, percussion instruments and a piano will be available. You are also welcome to bring your own musical instrument or use your voice!
This workshop series if facilitated by Dr. Irene Feher, from the Concordia Music department. Irene is also a certified Music For People Facilitator and leads some activities for the CSU music improv collective club Collabra-Dabra-Tory.
