The Studio Arts MFA students are pleased to present their annual exhibition: Maureen III. Initiated by students in 2016 and entirely planned, organized, and installed by volunteers from within the MFA community, the Maureen Show is now in its third iteration.

Art making today takes place within ever-expanding and fluctuating networks of discourse, competition, collaboration, and mutual support. Concordia's Studio Arts MFA program is one node within this network, entwining a community of artistic practices in Montreal and beyond. Consisting of over sixty students, the program spans a diversity of mediums and practices in seven concentrations: Fibres and Material Practices, Film Production, Intermedia, Painting and Drawing, Photography, Print Media and Sculpture. Separated into program areas and bundled into individual studios, students are often focused on individual production. The annual Maureen Show allows MFA students to come together to showcase their work from every discipline. This exhibition provides the opportunity to bring work out of the studio and to engage with the larger Montreal art community while celebrating the semester's end.

Please join us for the vernissage! Refreshments will be served.
