Concordia is committed to helping ensure that students complete internships in healthy and safe workplaces.
Under Quebec’s Occupational Health and Safety Act, the university shares responsibility with host organizations for protecting the physical and psychological health and safety of students completing internships or job-shadowing as part of their academic program.
Whether you’re a student preparing for an internship, an internship coordinator supporting placements or a host organization welcoming a Concordia intern, this section provides information and resources to help you understand your health and safety responsibilities.
Internship Workplace Safety Assessment
The Internship Workplace Safety Assessment helps ensure that workplace hazards are identified, appropriate control measures are in place and students receive the information they need before beginning their internships.
