We offer impartial, confidential, and independent services to those with concerns about the behaviour of any member of the Concordia community.
We base our work on a number of policies, most notably Concordia’s Code of Rights and Responsibilities.
If you are in immediate danger and are on campus contact Campus Security at 514-848-3717 – option 1.
If you are off campus call 911 or contact the police.

*For sexual violence or misconduct complaints, please contact the Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC) as a first step.
What we do:
- We offer support, advice and information to students, faculty and staff regarding what to do about behaviour that violates the Code.
- We work to address and resolve complaints through formal procedures, including hearings, investigations, measures and sanctions.
- We also use informal procedures to resolve complaints such as clarifying perceptions, mediation and providing strategies for resolution.
- We coordinate procedures to manage risks and/or threats, and provide guidance to the university in handling urgent cases.
- We aim to restore harmony, collegiality and cooperation following situations of conflict.
- We offer workshops and training sessions on topics such as addressing harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct or violence, and other threatening or violent conduct.
