Diploma in Big Data Business Analytics

PROGRAM

Big Data is certainly a trending term in IT, but it has little to do with IT, as you'll soon discover when you take this five-course program, which focuses on real-world business applications for Big Data. Science is fascinating but solving business challenges with Big Data pays the bills, big time. Finishing this program means you will:

  • Learn how to design a Big Data science project of your own using data from social networks, sensors, weblogs and more
  • Be ready to take your place as a fully qualified member of a Big Data team

And as if that weren't enough, remember the Harvard Business Review called Data Scientist "the sexiest job of the 21st century."

To succeed, you will be required to do 5-10 hours of work per week outside of class time. Those with little to no prior knowledge will require more time to gain familiarity with the concepts. Note that this is an online, synchronous program.
