Overview

French is part of daily life in Montreal, but it’s hard to know where to start as a complete beginner. 

French for Beginners teaches you what you need to start participating in everyday conversations. Through interactive exercises with other new learners, you’ll develop verbal and written skills while building a practical vocabulary for common situations. This course covers levels 1–2 of the Échelle québécoise and is designed for those with no prior French experience. With regular practice, you’ll get to play a more active role in Montreal’s social and professional life.
