Our Commercial and Legal Aspects of Shipping course helps you address these challenges by teaching you the legal framework that governs maritime trade. You’ll learn how shipping contracts like charterparties and bills of lading protect parties and assign responsibility, and explore marine insurance and Canadian maritime law. With this knowledge, you’ll understand how legal systems shape commercial shipping and gain the confidence to manage the risks involved.
