Current degree: BSc Chemistry (pursuing MSc Chemistry)

Research interests

I am currently working on ligation of dumbbell DNA structures containing intrastrand crosslinks. I am investigating the use of chemical and enzymatic ligation.

Previous work

In my last year of my BSc., I completed my Honours thesis in Dr. Wilds’ Lab where I prepared modified circular DNA molecules. During this time, I learned various techniques including synthesis of modified nucleosides, column chromatography, small molecule characterization, solid phase DNA synthesis and purification by PAGE.

Selected awards and scholarships

  • Concordia Merit Scholarship (2019)
  • Bourse D’Excellence Hewitt (2016)

Other interests

Reading, art, snowboarding, travelling.
