Start a student group
Interested in starting a new student group? Here are the steps.
Does your group fall under an existing student umbrella association? If so, please look into registering with them before continuing with this process. Otherwise, send the following information to studentlife@concordia.ca
- Completed Registration Form
- Constitution/by-laws
- List of 50 signatures (remains confidental and will be destroyed after the acceptance)
- Use of Concordia Name (if applicable)
Application are reviewed twice per term (fall and winter)
The Office of Student Life and Engagement (SLE) and the CCSL will, in their considerations, ensure that a new group respects the unifying values of Concordia University and its founding institutions as a secular university which is profoundly dedicated to freedom of expression, freedom of conscience, and access to higher education.
The SLE and the CCSL will, in their considerations, ensure that the values of Concordia University are upheld: providing a secure and respectful learning environment and workplace. New groups must adhere to promoting a healthy, safe and sustainable campus environment.
