The Masters of Design showcase reflects the evolving nature of design and technology as a cross-disciplinary field of research and practice. The selected works demonstrate intensive development and innovative practices that incorporate industrial, graphic, interactive, and theoretical design, while exploring contemporary issues in the field. Themes of sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical production are common currents in the show, highlighting Concordia University’s unique and unparalleled position as a leader in conceptual and environmental design.

Seeping Into Stones by Shaney Herrman
This work unearths an updated conversation surrounding Irish landscape by visualizing tensions that have settled into it-- tensions between the rural and the urban, the modern and the traditional, and the human and the non-human.
In and Out the Grid by Marianne Laporte
This work is a study that emphasizes on the impact that physical built volumes can have on space, and more precisely, on the potential and limits of calculated volumetric compositions that follows certain mathematical design principles.

VEIL | TENT by Haleh Vedadi
This work is a research-creation project that takes a performative approach to explore the veil beyond the controversial definitions and interpretations which have been ascribed to it in Iranian culture, thereby to investigate the borders between inside and outside, men and women.
ColorFull by Rebecca Goodine
This work is a research-creation game that explores how games can promote wellness.
Embroidery by Patil Tchilinguirian
Patil's work focuses on research-based and collaborative approaches to the visual design of information, the development of communication strategies, the creation of print publications and interactive projects and the design and scenography of graphics in spaces.
