FOCAL POINTS

The year-end show is a culmination of the 3+ years of work by Design and Computation Arts students in the Faculty of Fine Arts.

April 23, 2019 – April 26, 2019

For the Focal Points Design and Computation Arts 2019 Year End Show, over 30 students exhibited their most creative work for the public to see. The showcase reflected the evolving nature of design and technology as a cross-disciplinary field of research and practice—one that plays an active role in our daily lives. The selected works demonstrated intensive development and innovative practices that incorporate industrial, graphic, interactive, and theoretical design, while exploring contemporary issues in the field. Themes of sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical production were common currents in the show, highlighting Concordia University’s unique and unparalleled position as a leader in conceptual and environmental design.
