My current research seeks to interrogate the limitations of our knowledge on HIV/AIDS and sexual health. I seek to demonstrate the important contributions that critical social science inquiry can make to our understandings of infectious disease.  My substantive projects in HIV/AIDS work with a number of different populations (bisexuals, trans people, Haitians) in an effort to consider some of the blind spots of how we conceptualize and respond to the epidemic. It is in thinking about the juncture of these theoretical and methodological issues that my research addresses women's lives and women's health.
