Municipal Elections 2025
The Montreal Municipal Elections will take place from late October to early November, 2025. Concordia will host kiosks and polling stations on both campuses, where students, faculty, and staff can access information, register, and vote.
On-campus voting schedule
Elections Montreal will be on campus from late October to early November for the upcoming Montreal Municipal Elections.
You’ll be able to:
- Get voter information (September 24, 30, and October 8): Loyola and Sir George Williams Campus
- Register to vote (October 11 to 16): Sir George Williams Campus
- On-campus open vote (October 27 to 29): Loyola and Sir George Williams campuses
- Election day assigned polling (November 2): Sir George Williams Campus

What do you need to register?
Two documents are mandatory to register during the Voter registration period:
- ID with full name and date of birth
- ID with full name and address
On-campus open vote
October 27 to 29: Open to registered and eligible students, faculty, and staff
All Concordia students, faculty, and staff who are registered and eligible to vote in the Montreal municipal elections, who live within the amalgamated City of Montreal, may vote on campus from October 27 to 29, regardless of riding.
Requirements:
- Proof of ID is required. Check which documents are accepted on the Elections Montreal website.
Polling stations:
- Sir George Williams Campus: EV Atrium, Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (1515 St. Catherine W.)
- Loyola Campus: RF-110, Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre (7141 St. Sherbrooke W.)

November 2: Assigned polling stations
Voters with assigned polling stations on the Sir George Williams Campus can vote from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2:
- EV Atrium, Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (1515 St. Catherine W.)
- LB Atrium, J.W. McConnell Building (1400 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.)
Assigned polling
These polling stations are only for people whose voter information card indicates that their assigned polling station is one of the locations listed above.
If you are eligible to vote on campus on election day, please check your voter information card closely.
