Religious or faith community

  • 46% of census respondents identify as members of a religious or faith community, similar to the 2022 results (45%).  
  • Younger students, 48% of those aged 24 years old or less, students who identify as a racialized person (60%), and members of a linguistic minority group (58%) are more likely to belong to a religious or faith community. 
  • Conversely, students in the Faculty of Arts and Science (54%), the Faculty of Fine Arts (70%), members of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities (70%), and/or respondents with a disability (60%) are more likely to identify as non-religious.
