Indigenous peoples
- 1% of Concordia students self-identify as an Indigenous person in Canada, a lower proportion than in the Canadian (5%) and Quebec (2%) populations as well as the Canadian university student population (proportions varying between 3% to 6%).
- The students who identified as an Indigenous person in Canada mostly indicate being part of First Nations communities (55%). The remainder of the respondents identify as Métis (28%) and Inuit (11%)
