Concordia's Board of Governors seeks an administrative and support staff representative
Now is your chance to get involved! Concordia's Board of Governors is seeking one new member to join them, elected in accordance with the Election Procedures (BD-12).
The Board of Governors is the senior governing body of the University and is responsible for establishing the legal and administrative framework for the University.
The Board of Governors is seeking a nomination from the Administrative and Support staff (permanent full-time or permanent part-time), group to represent their constituency on the Board of Governors.
The representative will fulfil a significant role by participating in the governance of the University and will have an opportunity to collaborate with a community of governors, which includes external and internal members. The administrative and support staff representative serves a three-year term (which term is renewable).

If you are a member of Concordia's administrative and support staff (permanent full-time or permanent part-time), this is your opportunity to add your name to the candidate list to be a representative at the Board of Governors.
Eligibility and procedure
The candidates, nominators and all endorsers must be:
- Members of Concordia's administrative and support staff
- Permanent, active employees
- Full- or part-time employees
To be considered to serve on the Board of Governors, candidates must submit:
- The nomination form
- A pen sketch form that includes information about why they are interested in serving on the Board of Governors
The nomination form must be:
- Signed by the candidate
- Signed by the nominator
Deadline to submit nominations is February 18, 2026
Submit nominations and pen sketch forms to the attention of Carolina Willsher, Associate Vice-President of Human Resources, by email at officeoftheavphr@concordia.ca no later than 5 p.m. on February 18, 2026.
Interview
If the Electoral College needs more information from a candidate, an interview will be scheduled during its next meeting on February 25, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
