PhDs go on to do many wonderful, fulfilling things across a huge range of professional industries. What exactly are they doing? How did they get there? We scoured the internet to find blogs and websites that profile PhDs who have successfully navigated the transition from academia to the professional world, and are doing great work. For ideas and inspiration on what to do next, or how to translate the skills you’ve gained as a PhD candidate, read into these exciting accounts of where your work can go.

2. The Versatile PhD has a section of personal profiles written by humanities and social science PhDs who were hired straight out of academia.
