Concordia alumni Andrew McIntosh and Kinia Adamczyk took home prestigious prizes at the annual Canadian Association of Journalists’ award ceremony last month.
The pair won in the computer-assisted reporting category for their French-language report “On mange bien a Terrebonne,” a story about 14 managers in Terrebonne expensing $123,000 in meals to taxpayers.
The CAJ Awards were handed out April 29 at a gala event in Toronto. Global National presenter Dawna Friesen served as the event’s MC.
The prizes reward the best investigative reports in Canadian journalism.
McIntosh earned a BA in Journalism in 1997. Adamczyk, who holds a BA in Communications and Journalism, graduated in 2008.
