Concordia’s hockey teams can look forward to skating inside a spruced up Ed Meagher Arena after Reebok-CCM Hockey pledged $25,000 toward upgrades to the Loyola Campus sporting facility.

The gift announcement, which also includes four $2,500 awards for Concordia male and female hockey players, was made during a ceremonial puck drop ahead of the Stingers’ 4-1 loss to the McGill Redmen in the Corey Cup match on February 13.

Brian Keeler, director of sales for Reebok-CMM Hockey, was on hand for the announcement, as well as Katie Sheahan, Concordia’s director of Recreation and Athletics, and Roger Côté, associate vice-president, Enrolment and Student Services, and acting vice-president, Services.
