New Director of Operations & Information System Services, Ms. Lyne Bouret

Ms. Genevieve Desrosiers, CPA, CMA is the new Director, Research & Accounting Services effective August 7th, 2017. Genevieve was promoted into this position following a successful interim assignment in this role since June 1, 2016. Ms. Desrosiers is now responsible for leading a team of 16 managers and staff who are providing services in 3 distinct service areas. Under her direction are the groups offering accounting services in Research Funds, Restricted Funds and General Accounting. Genevieve has worked her way up in the ranks since starting her accounting career at Concordia University on January 9, 2006. Her most recent position prior to this promotion was Supervisor General Accounting.
Mr. Denis Cossette, CFO at Concordia University re-organized some positions within the senior group of managers in Financial Services to reposition and balance internal portfolios to ensure efficient services to our community are sustained as we continue to grow in student size and research volume. Amongst these professionals is Ms. Lyne Bouret, CPA, CMA who has also been recently promoted to the new positon Director of Operations & Information System Services, effective August 7th. In her leadership role, Lyne is responsible for Accounts Payable, Student Accounts and the Business Process Office and is overseeing a team of 24 managers and staff.
