notice
Closure of GM main entrance starting March 16 for two months
REVISED:
As part of the Guy‑De‑Maisonneuve (GM) Building deep energy retrofit project — the first pilot project under the university’s PLAN/NET ZERØ initiative — construction work will require the temporary closure of the GM Building’s main entrance on De Maisonneuve Boulevard W. starting March 16th for approximately two months.
During this period, access to the GM Building will be maintained through:
EV Building – ground level, via one of the following entrances:
- at the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street and Guy Street,
- on Mackay Street
Metro level, via the entrance to the EV Building.
Note: It will not be possible to enter the EV Building using the entrance on Guy St. near De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.
Temporary signage will be installed around the GM entrance to clearly indicate the alternative access routes (refer to the image below for more details).
We recognize that this work may cause certain disruptions, including noise and changes to familiar traveling paths. To minimize these impacts, noisy construction work will take place between 4:30 p.m. and 9 a.m.
For any questions, please contact Facilities Management at 514-848-2424, ext. 2400, or at facilities@concordia.ca.
