Search for an Administrative and Support staff member to serve on the Advisory Search Committee for the Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies

Now is your chance to get involved! The President has established the Advisory Search Committee for the recruitment of a new Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies, in accordance with the composition set out in section 10 of the Policy on Senior Administrative Appointments (BD-5) which includes:

  • One representative of the administrative and support staff from the unit where the position is being searched, elected in accordance with the Election Procedures (in this case the Electoral College)

Eligibility and procedure

The candidates, nominators and all endorsers must be:

  • Members of Concordia's administrative and support staff
  • Permanent, active employees (please note that administrative and support staff may not be on leave during their service)
  • Full- or part-time employees

To be considered to serve on the Advisory Search committee, candidates must submit:

  • pen sketch form that includes information about why they are interested in serving on the Advisory Search Committee

The nomination form must be:

  • Signed by the candidate
  • Signed by the nominator
  • Endorsed by five additional administrative and support staff members

Deadline to submit nominations is February 12, 2024

Submit nominations and pen sketch forms to the attention of Carolina Willsher, Associate Vice-President of Human Resources, by email at officeoftheavphr@concordia.ca no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024.

Interview

If the Electoral College needs more information from a candidate, an interview will be scheduled during its next meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2024
