Caroline Bogner joins Concordia's Financial Services as senior director of procurement.
On February 6, Caroline Bogner is joining Concordia as senior director of Procurement Services.
“Caroline is a procurement leader with over 18 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract and vendor management,” said Denis Cossette, the university’s chief financial officer.
Bogner has directed procurement and sourcing for several large organizations, including the McGill University Health Centre, Alberta Infrastructure, the University of Toronto and Metrolinx in Toronto.
Cossette said Procurement Services plays a key role within the Concordia community, helping stakeholders manage their resources and supporting the university’s activities and strategic directions.
Bogner is a member of the board of directors for the Canadian Public Procurement Council (CPPC). A certified professional public buyer, she holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Guelph.
“Concordia is a vital partner within the City of Montreal, with a rich history of community engagement,” said Bogner. “I am very excited about joining the university at a time when it is advancing its strategic directions. I look forward to working together and proudly celebrating our successes.”
