Ramy Fahmy, a Concordia MBA student, has won the 2013 Desjardins Emeritas Scholarship.

The $5,000 prize is awarded each year by the Quebec MBA Association (AMBAQ) to a recent Quebec-based MBA-program graduate who shows great leadership abilities.

During his studies at the John Molson School of BUsiness (JMSB), he was one of the main organizers of the 2013 John Molson MBA International Case Competition and served as VP internal of the Concordia Business and Health Association.

When presented with the award, Fahmy talked about his positive experience at Concordia. “JMSB is amazing in that it gives students the flexibility to explore and allows them to take initiative. It’s an honour to be given such a prestigious award and be recognized for something I loved doing and was passionate about.”
