As of November 1, 2012, children will be allowed to ride the inter-campus shuttle bus when accompanied by an adult with a valid Concordia ID.

The decision recognizes the diverse needs of the university’s community and is just one of many services available to students, faculty or staff members who are parents, including an independent daycare centre on each campus, and the Concordia University Student Parents Centre.

Like all shuttle users, the adult must present a valid Concordia ID card to the bus driver to board the shuttle. This includes students, faculty and staff members.

Manager of Distribution and Transportation Services Desmond O’Neill is pleased to expand the service to families who make up Concordia's community. "I'm glad we're able to provide this expanded service to our clients. I think it will make life easier for some families."
