Wanted: Your lost stories

Research team solicits untold Canadian tales
May 30, 2012

Countless fascinating stories about the Canadian past are unknown to all but a few people. A team at Concordia University, led by historian and Trudeau Fellow Ronald Rudin, is trying to bring some of those stories to light through a series of short videos, each of which would allow the viewer to follow a journey of creation leading to the installation of an object, a simple marker, on a site linked to the story.

For the purpose of producing the first video for the series, the team is looking for a lost story linked to a location within 100 km of Montreal.

To submit a story for this project, send an email or letter that includes your name and the best way to be reached by June 15, 2012, and briefly answer these questions:

  • What is your lost story?
  • Where did it take place?
  • When did this event occur?
  • Why is it important?
