Student protests: correction to purposeful misinformation

On March 21, a statement entitled, Concordia University Supports Accessible Education in Quebec, was disseminated to the media, students and others. Please note that this was not an official statement issued by the university and includes erroneous information.

The university has not changed its official position on student protest actions regarding tuition fee increases. This position was made public last week.

On Thursday, March 22, as announced earlier this week, Concordia University will be closed. This closure is not an endorsement of student protest action regarding planned increases in tuition fees.

The university will reopen Friday, March 23.
