More than 300 people filled the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall on October 5, 2011, to recognize and honour the 2010-11 scholars from Concordia’s Faculty of Arts and Science.

Arts and science scholars in each academic program were named for having the highest grade point averages during the 2010-11 academic year. These students are among the top one per cent of a remarkable group of 1,200 students who are on the 2010-11 Dean’s List for having achieved a grade point average of 3.75 or higher. Most of the scholars have grade point averages closer to the 4.00 range, with six students achieving a perfect average of 4.3.

“This year’s scholars are truly and exceptional and outstanding group of students,” said Dean Brian Lewis as he congratulated them. “As your professors, we know that it takes a lot of hard work and effort to get where you are today. We are here tonight to let you know how very proud we are of you and your success.”
