President Judith Woodsworth officially launched the Open to Question series on September 17.

This new initiative invites community members to participate in lunchtime discussions of timely issues.

With about 140 faculty and staff members and a handful of students in attendance, the university’s President made a brief presentation about Concordia's successes to date.

President Woodsworth then responded to a series of questions that ranged from staff recognition to open source software to the safety of crossing Mackay St.

The next Open to Question will be held on Monday, September 27.

Concordians are invited to a presentation by Provost David Graham titled,“Knowledge Factory, Innovation Engine, or Community of Scholars? (Re)defining the University in Society.”

The session will be held from noon until 1 pm at the Loyola campus in Room L-AD 308 of the Administration Building (7141 Sherbrooke St. W.). Registration is not required and participants are encouraged to bring a lunch.
