Students train to enter job market in full force

JMSB students learn to market themselves at Career Management Boot Camp

Career Management Services (CMS) recently conducted their 6th John Molson School of Business  "Boot Camp" for 18 JMSB students.
            
Various career management sessions were conducted over an intensive four-day period.

Activities included providing students with job market information, strenthening curriculum vitaes, drafting cover letters, improving interview skills, networking, developing dining etiquette, and ultimately, building self-confidence. The goal of the event was to increase student potential and overall competiveness in the marketplace.

Students enjoyed the professional delivery of the workshops and welcomed the opportunity to receive individual customized strategic career counseling. Following the bootcamp, students reported an increase in confidence in their ability to market themselves to employers.
