In recent years, Montreal has become a hub for innovation; a place where artists, scientists, social scientists, business women and men, individuals of all ages and institutions work together to bring about solutions to pressing problems.

Montreal’ s 2016 Demo Day, which will be held on June 9, is the latest concrete example of how innovation is a driving force in Montreal. Led by Concordia University’s startup incubator District 3 and startup accelerator InnoCité MTL, the event brings together for the first time Founder Institute, TandemLaunch, FounderFuel, and Centech (ÉTS), receiving support from the City of Montreal as part of its Smart and Digital City Action Plan 2015-2017.

As the wind of innovation continues to blow over the metropolis, Concordia's faculty members, students and alumni are leading the way when it comes to creative solutions to social problems, cutting-edge scientific and technological inventions, unique entrepreneurial and business research and impactful startup and youth-driven innovation.
