Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The 'First Flashes Photovoice' project is featured on CBC.ca (reprised by Yahoo! News), where project initiator Amina Jabadi, a masters student in art education, is pictured and quoted. 'First Flashes' was created as a means of helping newly-arrived Syrians integrate into their new Canadian community by using images to document their own experiences as newcomers. The participants' photographs are currently on show at the World Press Photo Exhibit in Old Montreal.
