- La Presse + features artist François Morelli, professor of painting and drawing in the Department of Studio Arts and a Concordia alumnus (BFA). The paper announces a retrospective show of Morelli's work, October 6 to December 17, at the 1700 La Poste art centre.
- CBC publishes a question-and-answer piece, where author Josip Novakovich, English professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science, takes questions from several fellow-authors. The introduction to the piece mentions that Novakovich is longlisted for this year's Scotiabank Giller literary prize for his short story collection, Tumbleweed (Véhicule Press).
